The film is based on a true story about a wrestler/ social media influencer named Russian Manimal Volkoff www.russianmanimalvolkoff.com It’s been documented that he has been banned or suspended from 76 consecutive locations including the state of Connecticut, and recently Florida Fox News as seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8C4H0RH1ixE The persona captures Borat’s controversial comedy, Chris Farley’s slapstick, Andy Kaufman’s experimental realistic humor, Mary Shelly’s Frankenstein's monster innocence , and horror icon Leather Face’s graphic violence. The story begins with a Soviet Hockey player who volunteered for a Russian Manimal genetics experiment meant to enhance Soviet soldiers' abilities using animal DNA. However, during 80 percent completion of the mutation process the program lost funding. It was decided to cryogenically freeze and put the experiment in storage until they had more money. The Manimal was forgotten until a power surge occurred 30 years later causing him to escape only to end up in the USA traveling around in a submarine. 

There he quickly became an icon for various subcultures and a successful pro wrestler infamous for his grenade death matches and using people as weapons. Convinced he is on a mission from Russia to save the world he founded the multipurpose group the Russian Gangsta. He recruited misfits and Russian wrestlers The Real Drago, and Chechnya’s first pro wrestler Yoeseph Ragnadof. His passion is fueled by society’s rejection and his hatred for New York Yankee Joe DiMaggio. Manimal was arrested after he shoved a rude fan. Former American Gladiator Malibu was assigned by the courts to be Manimal’s life coach. Malibu guided Manimal to become a successful philanthropist, and businessman.  He’s currently producing a charity album with Sinthea Sinatra called “Lewd Act” and won the inaugural AIWF New England Tag Team Championship with Dan Bidondi. Manimal is inspired by the following people: Star Trek’s Gene Roddenberry, Fred Rogers aka Mr. Rogers, Ben Franklin, & adult film legend Nina Hartley. “Growing up I loved the Troma films and Russian Manimal Volkoff by comparison is an unlikely hero in a villain’s body like Toxic Avenger. I’d say 80 percent of this film is real, and since it’s shot in real time there is no ending yet” said Co-Director Serenity Angel. The film stars Olga Kurkulina (Kick Ass 2), American Gladiator’s Erika Andersch, Sha-ri Pendleton, Deron McBee, IFBB Pro Aurelia Grozajova, punk rock legend Johnny Necro, Desiree Eden, Sepsiss, and AVN nominee Foxxxy Darlin. is a Roaring-Twenties escapade set in a small New England town. 

 The film highlights American Burlesque and Vaudeville both at their peaks.

The story centers on Oliver Henry III (played by Westerly native Geoff Blanchette), a small-time crook turned vaudeville theater owner. From humble beginnings in England, he immigrates to the US in search of happiness and fast cash. He becomes acquainted with people from all walks of life, from burlesque performers, mimes, hobos to classy flapper girls, as his fortunes rise and his life spins ever more out of control. The film is a loving homage to the silent films of the 1920s and 30s, and features a wide cast of characters based on archetypes and personalities common in those films, such as Charlie Chaplin, Marinka The Amazon, Thomas Inch, Annie Oakley, Buster Keaton, Orson Wells, Keystone Cops, Gypsy Rose Lee and many more. Much of the comedy was inspired by Benny Hill and Monty Python. Notably, it is the first silent feature film of its kind in 80 years, and the film speed was sped up to match with 1920's film speed. The film features talent drawn from Mystic, New London, and Westerly. Some notable talent featured in the film is WWE Legend Brian Blair, Olga Kurkulina star of "Kick Ass 2," Queen of the Paranormal Kadrolsha Ona Carole, Ric Silver the creator of the "Electric Slide" dance, and WWE Legend Ron Bass.
